Flora & Fauna Block Printing Camp
is a focused, immersive week dedicated to the art of block printing. Using either foam or rubber blocks (depending on age and skill level), students will design, carve, and print with original blocks inspired by nature, then use them to print on greeting cards, tea towels, zippered bags, and tote bags to bring home!

Image-making, repetition, pattern, and production are integral to printmaking. Students will print on both paper and fabric, experiment with color and layout, and experience the satisfaction of turning their carved blocks into unique finished works. Students can work with ready-to-go designs or create their own designs to use when carving their blocks.

This camp is ideal for curious, hands-on learners who enjoy working with tools and creating tangible end products.

Tuition includes all printmaking supplies used throughout the week, including professional-quality inks, carving blocks and tools, specialty papers, and fabric-printing materials.

This small-group, studio-style lab offers focused instruction, hands-on practice, and time to develop real printmaking skills.

Students may enroll in the camp multiple times to progressively refine their skills and work with increasingly complex block carving techniques.
